For the 2022 edition of the Trophées de la Com awards, showcasing the best work by communication agencies all across the south west of France, the organisers asked Guillaume to handle the art direction of the event.

Said art direction revolves around two main components: a gradient rendition of the trophy itself and a bespoke typeface, named Trophées Display.

Guillaume being asked to highlight the notion of movement, crucial after the cancellation of previous editions due to the pandemic, he crafted the typeface using a simple trick to make it livelier: two baselines. Consonants are thus aligned on a “regular” baseline while the vowels are being raised slightly higher.
